dad's birth

dad's birth
my dad was born on 25th march 1910 his name was hugh albert mclennan kenny. i have found out his parents were married in marlybone in 1911 and his sister lilian was born there in that year but no record of my dad. can anybody out there help

You don't mention if your Dad was born in Scotland. If so, the birth you are looking for is too late for the online records - you would need to contact GROS for a copy of the birth entry:

Otherwise, if it was in England you can consult the English records online, then with a reference for his birth, you can order a copy of the certificate.As you live in Glasgow your best bet would be to visit Park Circus Family History Centre. If your dad was born in Scotland you will be able to view his birth details there. It costs £14 for the day and you can access as many records as you like right up until the present. That way you will be able to do forward searches and find descendants too.
