Decipher help please

Can you please help with the name of John Fairley's window- Frances ? on his dc 1933

I think it might be 'Hosie'. I thought there was another letter at the end, but realised it was the closing bracket.

The cause of death looks like it starts with 'exhaustion following...' and then I can't get any more!

The 'exhaustion' is the most difficult one isn't it ?

I agree that the maiden name is Hosie, which is a North-East name usually.
