Ah I was wondering when our head Librarian would chime in.

Good points Frances.

Perhaps you could appoint a book club moderator. Think of the perks.

A spreadsheet is for people who like reading lists. No thank you.
A forum is for people who like to read books, analyse, share thoughts, opinions and discuss any nuance of any interpretation of what they have read.
I vote for the latter.

REGARDING BOOKS

This topic has been going on for 3 months now, has a concensus been reached yet?
I am not criticising because I am not sure I could do much to help, but I would love a dedicated forum just so I don't have to keep searching to see where I read about a book.

Merry Christmas to one and all

Hi Wini,

On 9 Sept 2007, Sheila raised the topic of a new forum for books (see first page of this thread) The issue was discussed and this forum "Books based on Scottish Genealogy, History and Culture" was set up.

Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
