Obit Govan 1942

Would someone be able to tell me if there is an obit for
John Wallace who died in March of 1942, in Govan?

Older enquiries elsewhere about what appears to be the same death give a date of 15 March.

Death/funeral notices in the Glasgow Herald in the 1940's were in the first columns of page one.

It is more likely to have been published in the Govan Press.
Sadly those archives aren't on-line anywhere it seems.

Perhaps the Mitchel Library has them?
