Hi Andrew,
Gosh, that was good of you to go to all that trouble.
Yes, there was another child born after 1874, David, who was the last.
Patrick did not survive and was dead before Peter was born.
There are death certificates for all of the children except Thomas and he has just disappeared. I can't tie him up to any marriage or death certificates at all.
My own father, William's son, remembers his Uncle Peter who lived into his sixties, as did William but he did not know about any of the others until I started this research.
Their deaths were all notified by John Kelly and most of them died in early childhood. I can't tell you how sad it makes me to think of John Kelly dutifully recording the deaths of all those children. The 1864 birth was a baby girl who was stillborn, I think.
Many thanks,
Ishbel

If there is a birth certificate, there should have been a 'live' birth and a corresponding death certificate.
There is a death certificate for her - aged 1½ hours. Cause of death - premature birth. Informant: John Kelly. To find her, search for surname KELLY in 1864 in Dundee - there is only one without a given name.
All the best,

Hi Andrew,
You're right - I was mistaken about her being stillborn and, in fact, I have her birth and death certificates in my Timeline!
Best wishes,
Ishbel
