thankyou for your message it was kind of you to post it and no i didn't have it or at least not Janet the one i found gave Jean John Margaret Willian & agnes so i will take another look .Janet F i found on the 1881 census with the family.
it's strange that Janet was recorded as a Yuill and her death cert that i eventually got to see was Zuill.
It's a pity that son william didn't marry and carry on the Zuill name
but prehaps if i do find the elusive John C Zuill he may have done.
Is there any Zuills out there??? :wink:

Hi Maggie,
Here's Charles, and probably as ZUILL, but a fancy "Y" would make it YUILL. There was no other "Y" to compare.
