Birth Registered twice - why ?.....

The two births are LDS submissions. The two christenings are extracted from the OPRs - both batch C119576.

Her older sister seems to have been christened twice too if the online IGI is to be believed, although I suspect an indexing error may be more likely (5th Nov 1834 and 5th Nov 1836) - or are the dates co-incidence and Ian's "changed churches" speculation showing two chistenings for her too. Her birth is also given by an LDS submission.

The five younger siblings on the online IGI are all extracted entries from the OPRs.

Hi IanS - that's an interesting thought that hadn't occured to me I'll be sure to post a message when I find out more - can't wait for those forms to come!!

Hi Andrew - The info I had came from SP, but thank you for the IGI reference. On SP there are two reference numbers (FR1601/FR1595) for the birth entries - this is what I am waiting rather impatiently for I had seen Agnes' info on the IGI before, but hadn't noticed her older sister's double entry. I'll have a look at that tonight - haven't looked at Cordelia Jr much as I'm leaning towards her maybe having died young. Very hard to find anything on her - can't wait until those 1841/51 census come online!
