Just uploaded a pdf showing how much (or how little) info can go on an A3 sheet of paper.

The problem I find when printing for myself is in Family Historian you have so much to print. That is if you are doing the full tree and all relations.

I sometimes only get a handful of people on 1 sheet of A4 and if I reduce the size of the boxes it becomes harder to read.

I have drawn my tree up in AutoCAD - computer aided design package I use at work. It took me a few weeks, but I have found it was well worth the effort. I can print off my tree(s) at A0 size, pin it up on a wall, get the red pen out and make notes/corrections/additions etc. I just have basic details on my trees - full name, occupation, date and place of birth and date and place of death.

One of my colleagues loaded their family history software package on to their pc at work and she has run off a copy of her tree at A0 size. Work charge 50p per A0 sheet.

Tish,

I've sent you a PM for the site. I know you're not allowed to advertise so I can't post it here. If anyone else needs it just ask and I'll PM you.

(PS. The site is not connected with me just found it to be good and reliable.)

Cheers

Stuart
