Hi david
I'm not at all sure what happens with annulments, but have you looked at the original marriage entry?

I just wonder if, as happens with a divorce, you would find something noted on there which would lead you to another document.

e.g. see http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/files/rm1text.pdf which implies that a decree of anullment would have been generated.

Best wishes

Hi David

Park Circus in Glasgow would probably be nearer for you. Make a long list of "to do"s, book your seat well in advance (as a wee Christmas present to yourself! xmas:cheesygrin: ) and make a day of it!

Hi David,

I've come across a couple of annulments in my tree and both were down to Bigamy. The most recent was in the 50's when my aunt's second marraige was annulled.
