Can anyone do a look up for a death registration of Ann Mcdowell Maiden name Robertson I know its asking a lot as I dont have a death year :cry:

Hi Jean,

On www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk there is one Annie McDowall (other surnames Neil and Robertson) who died in 1906, aged 26. If she looks likely, then her death certificate is available on a pay per view basis on ScotlandsPeople.

i am not sure as there were 2 daughters Agnes born 1905? and daughter Lydia born 1911? but there is confusion on who the mother was for Lydia
I am pulling my hair out, :x

Hi Jean,

Where should your Ann be? The one I noted died in Paisley. If Agnes was born in Scotland, her birth certificate should be available on ScotlandsPeople. The 1911 birth certificate is still covered by the 100 year closure rule, so won't be online for a few years.
