I've uploaded a marrige cert for a Margaret Cormack. Margaret died in 1911 aged 74 so born about 1837, and the dc revealed she had married a 2nd time to a John Maxwell. The mc for Margaret & John has her aged 38 in 1882 when she should be about 45 or so; as well, she has her parents William Tulloch and I can't make out the mother's name.

Hi Dennis,
On the marriage certificate the mother's name looks like Margaret Tulloch (ms. Stewart). But then the death certificate implies that the Tullochs were her first inlaws and that her own parents were William and Elizabeth Cormack (ms. Rich). A confusing setup.
The IGI gives a family of children to a William Cormack and Elizabeth Ritch at the right sort of time in Deerness Parish, Orkney. The entry for Margaret is an LDS submission as are some of the others. The only matching marriage is an LDS submission.
No sign of children to a William Tulloch and Margaret Stewart on the IGI. There is a matching marriage in 1850 in Abbotshall, Fife.
All the best,
Andrew Paterson

Hi Annette,
Thank you for that information. There are times when I take an ancestral family member's life as if I knew them personally; it can tug at your heart. I haven't found Robina yet, but there is a William. I guess Elizabeth w/ Edward & kids went to and died in the USA; hope to follow up on what became of them.
Where do I send to for a copy of that document you referred to:

Robina on census
Dennis,
I take it you have seen Robina with Catherine on the 1881 census living with her grandfather Cormack and probably next door to her future husband.

Hi Annette,
Now that you pointed it out to me I see her. William was living with his aunt & uncle in 1881 age 13 at the time; he ended up marrying an Eliza Traquair Cowie in 1891, haven't found any kids yet.

Hi Annette.
Was wondering how to include Robina as she was born between dads in Aug. 12, 1878.
