looking for the marriage of Alexander Cowie Hamilton and Jea

Looking for the marriage of alexander Cowie Hamilton Born1863. Have his death certificate in 1920 in Dunbarton. Cant find a marriage on Scotlands people. Wife Jeannie Martin. Alexanders parents were John Hamilton and Agnes Cowie. Cant find him on the 1901 cenus either, or the 1881 census. Cant find a birth cert for Jeanie Martin either on Scotlands People Costing me a fortune. Anyone have anyideas

Hi Maggie,

I put in Alexander Cowie Hamilton with J*n* Martin and got one hit in 1888.
Sorry don't have the credits to look myself but it seems promising.

Hooray. I found it Was looking in the wrong place and wrong time place Name was Jane.

There's an 1881 Alexander Hamilton in Old Monkland, born 1863 in Coatbridge, parents John and Agnes. Could that be your man?

Thank you yes its him I have the 1881 CDs but again was looking in Dunbarton. Found him in Coatbridge. I was born there too!!
