1860s but no image available

Hi

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered many times before . . . .

Looking up Births in Eckford, Rox between 1860 & 1870 about half say "No image available". Do I have to pay £10 to send for them

Silly question coming up - why are the images not available on line when the basic details are given on a search?

Hi Lorna,

If that many images for the district are not showing, then there is a problem, either with the quality of the images from there being deemed unsatisfactory (unusual apart from 1851 census) or more likely there is some indexing issue which is failing to link the index to the images. Either way, I suggest that you complete a contact form on SP saying that the image is not available, asking why not (you may not get an answer to that part), and asking if they could send an image to you. You should get a satisfactory answer that way.
