Lost Archie
Hi All,I'm trying to find an Archibald Watson who is on my 1841 Census for Alloa. He is listed as age 11 so that puts his birth around 1830 - 1831 I think.I cant figure out the relationship between him and George Watson who I presume is the head of the house. The census doesnt say whether they are father and son.I've tried the births on the OPRs but come up with different names and places although the years tie in.Is it possible this could be a nephew sent to stay with his uncles family.I checked the 1851 census for Alloa but its not available on SP but a wider area searh found an Archibald Watson in Selkirk working as a baker (which I am too).I cant find him on death records either, can anyone offer any suggestions on how to proceed, its driving me up the wall, many thanks. Found Archie, but not the one I was looking for although he is a relation.I was checking a link on familysearch and found an Archiebald watson who had parents called Wilhelmina and John.I done a marriage search on SP and found that John was the brother of the original Archibald I have been looking for.I love it when you find these little gems unexpectedly.
