Looking for information on ancestors and descendants of Thomas Kermack (1827-1907), first with Margaret Boag (1831-1905), 2nd he married in 1861 to Margaret Douglas (1833-1863), 3rd he married 1865 to Eliza "Lizzie" Angus (1838-1889). Have some info going back with his parents being William Kermack (c.1783-1849) and Janet Bisset (no dates).
William and Janet had children:

We can normally help more with ancestors than we can with descendants.
Do you know where in Scotland Thomas Kermack married (three times) and died? At the time of his 1861 marriage he will have given the name of his parents himself - have you seen this document and the 1865 marriage too? If not, that may be the place to start...
Any of the census years from 1851 onwards will give you where he stated he was born.

I've been looking into some Kermacks too, but a bit earlier, from that area of Airlie/Ruthven/Kingoldrum/Alyth. Will endeavour to look out what I have - which isn't much, just births and dates. There are a number of variant spellings so you need to try everything possible!

Thomas 1st marriage to Margaret Boag location is unknown. Sons from this marriage (if they did marry) were William and Alexander, both born "Boag", then later name shown as Kermack. 2nd & 3rd marriages both show to have taken place in Dundee but children from those marriages all born Alyth.
Thomas was born (09 Jun 1827) and died (28 Jan 1907) in Alyth.
Margaret Boag born 26 Aug 1831 in Old Rattray, died 15 May 1905 in Coupar Angus.
Margaret Douglas born 03 Nov 1833 in Dunkeld, died 02 Jan 1863 in Alyth.
Lizzie Angus born 28 Jan 1838 in Rattray, died 28 Oct 1889 in Alyth.
Would like to link the Alyth Kermacks to the Kirriemuir Kermacks noting how close these communities are and the name comes up so often in Kirriemuir. Obviously related.
