Can't read the mom's info.....

Post by Dennis » Sun Sep 11, 2005 5:41 pm

Hello.

I've uploaded the DC of Helen Stewart. Widow of John Stewart. She died Jan 17, 1904. I can't read her mom's data. It also looks like her mom was on her 2nd husband.

Hi Dennis,

From what I can make out, Elizabeth Stewart's parents were:
James Stewart, Quay Labourer (deceased)
and
Elizabeth Fyfe, previously Stewart and Thorburn (deceased).

All the best,

Andrew Paterson

Hi Dennis
I'd agree with Andrew:

Elizabeth Fyfe, previously Stewart M.S. Thorburn (deceased)

Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Andrew & Lesley:)

I gues I thought that there was an 'i' in the maiden name.

Many thanks!!

The upper stroke of the "b" in Thorburn has a bit of a break in it, giving the impression that the top part might be the dot of an "i".
