McCracken family,Ayrshire/Glasgow

HELP please..
I was on this board some time ago, then had a PC crash and lost everything :oops:
Re registered but can't access my previous posts.

Need some help in tracing the parents of JOHN McCRACKEN, born abt 1835 Colmonell Ayrshire .Died 13 May 1886 in Glasgow. He was a baker
He was married twice..1.Agnes Miller 2 Elizabeth Gibbon

Welcome back, Brenda! I believe you are the lovely woman who took cemetery pictures for me about 6 years ago!

Sorry you had a PC crash :( You can easily find your previous posts by putting "Brenda" in the "Search for author" box in the Talking Scot search function. I found them easily and read all that we had to say about the McCrackens before (quite a bit, actually!) It IS confusing, isn't it?!

It's bed time here where I am at the moment, so my brain isn't functioning very well, but maybe someone in a different time zone can untangle this while I sleep :)

Hi Brenda

Towards top of screen on left under "Board Index" is a heading "User Control Panel". Click that and then you have a page with a number of tabs. One tab is labeled "profile"
Click "profile" then click "edit account settings" - then there are options to change your email and/or password.

Not sure if there is a quicker route - but that was how I found the password change. :D
