Hello Rainne and ![TS welcome [TS_welcome]](./images/smilies/TS_welcome.png)
Do you know when his first wife died? That would give you an idea of when his second marriage might have taken place. Her age at that date could be crucial to whether or not they had children and you can then search for possible births. If it is before 1911, the census would be useful also to see who is in the household.
Do you have her death certificate, or have you just heard somewhere that she died in 1948? That certificate should give you her parents' names and, with luck, will be signed by a child as informant.
All the best,
Sarah

George’s marriage to Mary Ann Wood was registered in Forres in 1911. You can download a copy of the marriage cert on the Scotlandspeople site.

Re: george and mary ann wood walker
Just playing around with the search function on ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk I can see that there is a Mary Walker, other surname Wood, who died in 1948 at the age of 75. That puts her birth in 1873 and makes her 38 at the time of her marriage with George. She could have still had children, but one hopes not, having seen that there were already 8 children in the family in the 1901 census! There is a child with the surname Walker born in Forres in 1912 and another in 1913, but I don't have any credits so can't tell if they are children of George and Mary Ann.
In 1901 there is a Mary Wood age 29, born in Edinkillie, Moray, who is a Domestic Servant in the household of John Asher, a baker and grocer in Forres.
As Elwyn said, you can download the certificates at ScotlandsPeople and thus find out additional information.
Best wishes,
Sarah

You might be entering too much information in the fields.
Go into statutory registers – marriages. Enter Walker as the male surname and Wood as the female. Enter 1911 (only) as the year. Don’t worry about any other details. It brings up just the one match which is your couple in Forres. GROS ref 137/00 0001

Re: george and mary ann wood walker
Probably about the same amount as they cost for me, since I live in Idaho
Seriously, they are £7 for 30 credits. That's about $11 today. If your credit card charges you for foreign transactions, as mine does, it will come out slightly more than that.
It takes 1 credit to see the list of results, and then 5 credits to see the image. So 6 credits in all for the marriage certificate.
Good luck!
