LDS - have they changed it?.....

I've just had a frustrating 15 minutes at the LDS website. Entered the names of the couple I knew had married, and the appropriate areas... got a list of about 40 possibilities..... clicked on the first couple......... nope, not them. Return..... and got a blank page! I had to keep entering the information, again and again and again. I hope this isn't their idea of an "upgrade"

I know it's free and I shouldn't complain, but..........
Anyone else had this problem?

Hadn't tried LDS site this morning but did upon reading your post. Seems to be working fine

I had the same kind of frustration with the site yesterday. Thought they might be working on the site or overloaded, so left off before my fingers had a chance to wear down. Haven't tried again today

Hope all is well with you. Had a quick visit to Larkhall beginning of the month.

Hi Scozzie I am having similar problems
Put in the names I am looking for, check them out, hit the back button
And get page expired, try a refresh and go back to the beginning
As we say in Glasgow

This regularly happens when there's a high load on the site for whatever reason and/or upgrades are being done "on the fly".

Try again an hour later. If there's still a problem leave it for half a day or a full day. If there's still a problem then contact the excellent help email address.

I was having problems on Thursday and asked elsewhere if the LDS site was having problems and a lady in Arizona said there was a message
on the local LDS Library door stating that.....................................
the site will be down for a couple of days for updating
Maybe the IT people let us on when they are having Lunch break. Its possible they did put this notice on the site but i for one dont look for that when i go on !

You'll be lucky

My previous experience would indicate that, unless you have inside LDS info, the first that you know about a site update is an access problem, but given the brilliant nature of the LDS info made freely available to non-members of the LDS church, I'm in no way complaining !!

I like the way the note was pinned to the door and that in itself was meant to tell the whole world ! I should have got someone to check the LDS in Kensington ! but at least the message passed from Arizona to Essex !

Phew! Glad it's not just me! I tried again today, got the same problem. Like I said in my original posting - I'm not complaining much, cos it's FREE!
I got a fright today... entering the 16 digit number of my credit card at SP - I know the number off by heart! It's a worry.
