Hi.

I've uploaded the death rec. for David Richardson. The records lists the father but there is no mother.

Hi Dennis,
Very probably you know all this; but seems you have a choice of birthplaces for David from various censuses.
Sorry can't help with mother's name, and i notice an LDS member has an interest in David too.

1851 Tinwald age 27, says b Applegarth, DFS
1861 Glasgow age 36, says b Lochmaben, DFS
1871 - i think it's 38
1881 Glasgow age 57, says b Dumfries, DFS

At least his ages are fairly consistent.

Either the informant, his wife, didn't have this information, or he was illegitimate.
