Burial Information on Death Certificate.....

Post by CatrionaL » Tue Jan 03, 2006 4:04 pm

Can someone refresh my memory, please. For what years were burial and undertaker information noted on the Death Registers?

Thanks

1855 - 1860, but I have this niggle at the back of my mind that the burial place only was recorded 1856 - 60 ..........

I've got one from Glasgow (Lanark) in 1855 that has the burial place recorded and undertaker info - if that helps any.

Thanks for your answers, DWW, Lahb and Annette.

I had hoped the dates would be later than that as my Great Grandfather was an undertaker in the Gorbals. However, in the late 50s earl 60s he was still just driving a Gig.
