Alexander Millar & Margaret Hean.....

Does anyone have this couple in their family tree. They had one child James Millar. James married Margaret Gardiner Blair June 13, 1870

A search on the IGI for:
Father: Alexander Miller, Mother: Margaret Hean
gives a possible few more children...

    2. ROBERT MILLER - International Genealogical Index
    Gender: Male Death: 29 DEC 1854

    3. MARGARET MILLER - International Genealogical Index
    Gender: Female Birth: 1836 Forfar, Angus, Scotland

    4. MARTHA MILLER - International Genealogical Index
    Gender: Female Birth: 1841 Forfar, Angus, Scotland
However, these need to be treated with caution as they are all submissions, not extracts taken directly from the Parish records. They seem about the right time to be siblings to your James BUT are they in the right area? Was your James from Forfar?

Following on from this was James then in Perthshire? And possibly in Broughty Ferry later?

This may be them in the 1881, but its a bit of a hunch on my part, so I may be wrong. It appears James's middle name was Hean, so this would fit, there is the Forfar connection, the kids were born Perthshire which also seems to fit with IGI info and the ages of the visible kids would seem to concur with the marriage date. But it is a guess on my part - there are a lot of James Millars!
