Free Phone Calls.....

I thought I would let members know of a programme on the web at http://www.voipcheap.co.uk/en/index.html where you can download a free programme which lets you make FREE peer-to-peer contact over the computer using a headset with a microphone (similar to Skype).

We opted to buy £10 in credit [we have 120 days (4 months) to use it up] and now we can make calls to UK landlines and several places over the world, including the USA, at no charge and no calling time limit. We also call mobile numbers in the UK and the small charges made for this are taken from the £10.

We have been using it now for a week and have been calling relatives all over Europe using our computer and it has saved us a lot of money. I am hoping to find some telephone numbers for friends, and family history contacts I have made in the USA, as it is free for us to call landlines and even mobiles there.

For those who need to regularly contact relatives outside the UK, or even somewhere like the GROS regularly during the day, then it can only be cost effective.

Hi Clydesdale,

I took your advice and download the program and it does all you say you get free calls to all round the world. I have spoken to Canada free even though I had not paid anything at this time spoke for 1 minute the limit without paying. After I pay the minium fee it is unlimited time to free destinations.
