Isabella Who??.....

Post by bluerowan » Sun May 07, 2006 12:44 pm

Hello

Was wondering if anyone has any idea what William Niven's Mother's maiden name is? Entry No is 829 (first one).

Hi Bluerowan,
A warm welcome to TalkingScot !

My guess on William's mother's m.s. is McINTYRE.

I'll go with McIntyre, - I've seen some weird "I"s, but this one takes the biscuit :!:

Hi Jack

Pleased to meet you. Thank you for the warm welcome.

I thought it might be McIntyre - that being the case, I cannot find a marrage cert for the parents, William's birth on record or the family on the 1841 Census.

He's my Grt Grt Grandfather and a major brickwall. I managed to get William's MC - but it only has his name, occupation and wife's name.

Thanks again
Bluerowan
