Record of death for John Stevenson -------HELP.....

I have John Stevenson alive and well as of 1841 census in Milton, Lanark with a wife Jane and several rugrats, (age 58) however he seems to have dropped off the planet after that, checked S/P and ages don't seem to match up from 1855 to 1870, I need help.

He was 58 in 1841 not 5 :)

What were children names.ages?what was his occupation?Born in County or not?
These could give us some clues to follow.

Anyway, kids names are (were) Janet,Jean,Matthew,William,Agnes, and John
He was a candle maker/soap maker Lived on Clyde st in 1841
