Deciphering Help.....

I have uploaded a birth cert for Helen Thomson. (Hope I've done it correctly) Could someone have a look and tell me if you think the home address is Mavisbank Street. I can't find a record of Mavisbank Street in Glasgow.

Hi Merlot,

How about Muirhead Street as a possibility. I am not sure, but offer it as a suggestion.

It exists on the following webpage as a street in the Gorbals.

Think you're right Andrew. This looks like them in 1881 census at 7 Muirhead Street :
