anyone help me im stuck ,cant find john mcnaughton marriage to an agnes fisher ,and they had a son around 1850 called james cant find his birth either

Hi Maggie

On the IGI I have found the birth for a Thomas Fisher McNaughton, July 4, 1846 in Stirling. The parents were John McNaughton and Agnes Fisher.

Could this be one of your relatives? This was from a submission, Thomas McNaughton died in 1916 in Oregon. He seems to have had 4 wives.

I don't know if this is of any help or not.

Is this the Dr. Thomas McNaughton found in the Oregon Death Index on ancestry.com? It might be worth ordering the death certificate to see if there is other information.

Death Date:09 Feb 1916
Certificate:130

In the 1910 census he is listed as age 63, born in Scotland, year of immigration 1866. Let me know if you'd like me to look up further census info. You may already have it since what you are asking for is the records in Scotland.

thanks for your replies yes i found him too,thomas ive read his obituarie ,but on the igi ,i cant find agnes mcnaughton ,her name comes up as agnes mcdonald,so im still at a lost and cant find on scotlands poeple either
