Hello
Ive was going to request some birth certificates for the 1920's in Aberdeen when looking at their prices they were outrageous- £25 and wait 15 working days, went up more if you wanted them sooner- this geneaology business is getting very expensive. Anyone feel the same?

Re: Cost of BMD certificates!
Is this Aberdeen in Scotland?, - if so this is a rip-off price, maybe via a third party, - see http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/h ... flet2.html for current prices direct from GROS in Edinburgh.boland wrote:Hello

And if a non-legal copy is OK, then for births 1855 - 1905, marriages 1855 - 1930, and deaths 1855 to 1955, a paltry £1 will get you the digitised image on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk .
