After waiting patiently for the 1906 Births to come on line
I searched for my Aunt on there today and cannot find her.
I was always told she was born in March 1906 but she never knew the correct date.
Woe is me.Where to now

Well.....if you care to post the name you're looking for I'd have a second look for you. Not second guessing your ability to search....just wondering if there has been a funny indexing or maybe a need for wildcards?

If truly the record can't be found then maybe she was born later...in which case you either wait another year or get someone to check the current records at NRH or Park Circus on your behalf.

Hello Jean,

I am guessing it could be a spelling or phonetic error.
My Grandparents were from Europe and this was their first child.
I am looking for Sarah TATCH born March 1906 in Edinburgh, possibly Newington .
Her Parents were married in Edinburgh 1905.

I have tried some wild cards, but maybe trying too hard.

Looks like I will have to wait another year.
I went back and checked my data ,"Should have done that first" and it was July 1906 the parents married so she was born March 1907!!
Looks like 9 Months from the "Honeymoon".

Oh well another year down the track I think.
