Please can you help with the 1855 birth of Eliz Reid Mcnab,
father - James McNab
mother - Jane McKean
and can someone tell me the best way to reduce the size of my images, as it seems to take me quite a few tries to get them uploaded.

As soon as a member of Admin arrives on the scene they will upload your image to the gallery. Sorry i cant help you with the sizing of the image - although Lesleyb did tell me how to do it once

Married 1844 Glasgow.

3 boys, 1 girl living

Jane McNab maiden name McKean???
Her 5th Child. Aged 29 years.
Born ? City of Edinburgh.

Aged 29 years, born in Glasgow

Mother ?Anne or Jane? ?McKean or McNeil?
Age 29 years
Her 5th child
Born in (it could be) Edinburgh

Informant was James McNab, Father

IF Edinburgh is correct for her place of birth then Campsie is a bit far away I would think.

However, I'm not entirely sure that it is Edinburgh.

Do you have them in 1881?

If not, here they are.

A search on the IGI shows 10 children born to this couple. One of them was Ellison

so easy to find in 1881.

I know this doesn't help you to find her place of birth.

What about the 1861/1871 censuses. Have you found them there? She was alive in 1861 as 4 of the children were born after this year. The last child (Ellison) was born in 1867
