RCE Testing - Urgent

Post by DavidWW » Wed Apr 18, 2007 10:14 am

The RCEs are nearly here.

Subject to a test drive by the User Group it should be soon.

But testing the situation is not a straightforward as normal, since far from every register entry has an RCE.

So, if you have an entry with an RCE that you've never checked out, shout now and I might be able to add it to my testing later today and tomorrow.

First Come First Served :!:

Hi David,
I see you've only been given deaths, so here's a birth:

The birth of Peter Brown (Illegitimate)
20 Oct, 1860 in Strichen, Aberdeen
Mother: Margaret Brown, Domestic Servant

Dec of Paternity
See Reg of Cor. Entries Vol I p I?
February 1st 1864

I will not vouch for the numbers-- the writing has blots everywhere. The page number looks like "IS". But I assume you are testing the link from the certificate so it doesn't matter?

Many thanks,
Sarah
