Post by jw » Tue May 22, 2007 9:50 am

am looking for any information on David Storrar and Eliza Ann Jones married in Ballingry July 16, 1909.
They had 6 children;

Eliza Ann Jones Storrar born October 21, 1914 Lochlore
Tom Storrar
Helen Storrar
Ann Storrar
Violet Storrar
David Walker Storrar

Any information on anyone's parents or birth dates would be appreciated.

Hi JW
...and a warm welcome to Talking Scot :D

We can certainly help you back in time, but we don't work with births later than 1906, to protect the privacy of possibly living persons.

Not sure if you already have a copy of the above marriage entry- if so, that should help you go back a generation on both sides....There certainly is a marriage of those two names, David Storrar and Eliza Ann Jones, in Fife in 1909 on Scotlands People (see link at top of page - it is a pay per view site where you can download copies of the original entries), but it does not seem to be Balingry, but Lumphinnans.

From the marriage you should be able to work backwards with births, marriages & deaths and the census material, all available on the Scotlands People site.

Best wishes
Lesley
