I can't find a death

Hi all,

I am looking for the death of Thomas Prentice, born about 1808 and was married to Mary Cunningham. The family lived in the Sprinburn area. He died between 1871 and 1876 in Lanark I would think, and yet he isn't showing up. There are two at SP but neither is mine.

Hi Nina,

He is there, age 55 in 1875 in St Rollox. The age is out, but the wife is the right one.

I was looking for a man ten years older, as I had noted that he gave his age as 63 on the 1871 census. Looking at it again (and a couple of years have passed between looks) I see he said 53!
