Abraham Mitchell help please

Hi Everyone

i am really stuck with this and be most grateful for some help

Abraham Mitchell married Elizabeth Colborne, i cant find their marriage cert, they had a son William Henry Mitchell he married a Caroline McEwen 19 Sep 1874 at New Monkland.

I have a searched before and after 1855 for Abraham' marraige and any other kids he may have but i have come up with nothing,

If so it looks as though his parents may have married in Ireland which is possibly why you can't find it.

Hi

Nelmut i think u may have hit it right on the head, cause i cant find a birth cert for William either,

Abraham was a police constable

there is only one Abraham Mitchell listed at Ancestry.co.uk for The Royal Irish Constabulary 1816-1921

i have used up my free trail a while ago has anybody still got theirs not being used?

Original data: An Index To The Royal Irish Constabulary, 1816-1921. Microfilm LDS Family History Centre, 0852088-97-0856057-2069.

Presumably there may be more information on the LDS film.
