Marriage Charles Muir and Maggie Mein
I believe my Grandparents were married at Balmaghie on 25 November 1896 can someone tell me how to check this out and get a copy certificate please.

Have you tried a search on Scotland People? www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
It is free to join and search, and is a pay per view site offering copies of the original documents from the General Register Office of Scotland. Minimum payment is £6 for 30 credits: to see the list of results of searches costs 1 credit (20p) and to see a digital copy of the original entry costs 6 credits (£1) SO the total expenditure for the marriage will be £1.20 (good value!!! )
Using the search I see there is a marriage for that couple in 1896 in Kirkcudbright, Balmaghie.
