Hi David Webster,

And there was me thinking I had made my last post! Sorry, but I don't recognise the comment you have attributed to me. I said there might be be a chance it was me. I didn't say I wrote everything. For example, I know you did an excellent promotional piece for Your Family tree only one issue ago on the new Scotlands People Centre. So clearly it isn't possible, and hence why I am surprised at your surprise.

However, I do make sure Scotland gets a look in with every article I write on record sets, hence my use of the phrase "if you see the word Scotland written". For the record, I have actually written very few records on Scottish topics solely, but then I don't recall stating that I have. Equally for the record, to help clarify things, I have a regular column in Ancestors as of this month, I source and write the monthly news content for PFH; I write the get started guides for YFT and others that remain uncredited in the mag; and occasionally features articles for FHM and FTM. I trust that clarifies my obviously misworded comments earlier! :)

With kind regards,

Chris

The words that I quoted were the actual words that you used............ not "attributed".

As stated, there's a number of other regular Scottish contributors to these magazines apart from me ............................
