The lady made the National News here in Oz last night, and the yutube video had over 1,000000 hits since Saturday, yes she is going a long way & she deserves to with a voicelike her's.

She'll be on the Today Show tomorrow AM...a bit too early for me so I'll have to find my instructions and record it.

Speaking of what Susan "should" have received and/or why -
It is rare in life that those who should - receive their due. It is simply heartwarming to know that Susan may receive those dues - and better late than never.
It will not make the world a better place for the majority who do not fill the bill of young, beautiful and full of talent. It will not stop the next unlikely hero being ridiculed - but it is just so nice that she had the talent - and she knew it.
The newspapers who write the articles and berate their readers - create the world of the young and beautiful - and rarely, if ever, speak of the Susan Boyle's of the world. They help to create that world, so disparaged by the article.

Thanks, Marilyn - great Herald article.
One thing I am concerned about that the Herald did not address: I pray that she finds responsible business management so that the vultures don't turn this lovely and talented woman into a "commodity."
We hear many stories about lottery winners' lives being ruined with more money than they know how to manage. Susan Boyle deserves better - she is a national treasure to be protected.

I thought she was pretty good but the funny thing is the impact seems to increase each time you watch it. She would have sounded a lot better if I wasn’t tone deaf.
Who were the three bimbo’s in the front row, and why did they get a triple x rating, and what does getting three yes’s mean for young Susan?

Hi Alan,
What we saw on YouTube was just the audition, and I believe the three 'yeses' mean that Susan will now compete along with all the others in the show each week until someone wins. Hopefully she will win, but even if she doesn't, I understand from one of the many TV Talk Shows I've viewed, that she will get a contract from Simon.
Go Susan!
Regards,
Anne H

Amazing voice and wonderful performance - I think I have helped her to her 50 million "hits" .
I have also listened to her stunning 1999 recording of "Cry me a river" on youtube . I can't wait to hear what she does next. What do you think she should sing next - perhaps Memory from Cats ?
I can't claim her in my tree. But I grew up nearish to Bathgate and my eldest daughter's got a good voice , so there must be something in the water...
