Dentists are turning into highway robbers
Turning Marilyn I thought they always were! Although I did find a fabby one in Wick who take care of my Wisdom tooth as an emergency-he extracted it & only charged £6 - the  almost killed me. :D :D

I've only just got over the disappointment of failing to win the Spurtle last year, so the thought of missing out on a Scottish Dialect Tea Towel might just be too much to take!! Might just have to settle for the SP credits......... [-o<

Good Luck Everybody!!

Only 6£? Joette, I would have been shocked too. :D Marilyn, Dentists are definetly high way robbers. For one root canal $1200. For crown for root canal $1200. My insurance reimbursed me for $100.00. They don't believe in root canals or crowns. [rant] What is more I am not finished yet. I suppose that I should partly blame myself for not going to have my teeth checked up more often.

Enough of that. With everything the way that it is, I don't think that I will be able to afford to rent the Queen Mary 11 this year to get to this years Beach Party. A large rowboat is the only way to go. Anybody want to help me row over there. If we leave early and row well we should get there on time. I will pick up anybody going from North America to Scotland. The more rowers the merrier. :D

That's my second lot of "staggered" tombola tickets. I'll be staggered if I win anything, never won anything before. I tell a lie - the Evening Times "Spot the Ball" competition in 19 -----------------  Oh no, surely not - we'll just draw a veil over that
