Re: Robert Burns
Hi Wini, there are lots of descendants of RB. I have a friend in Winnipeg, Canada, who is a direct descendant of Betty Burns, the daughter of Rabbie and Ann Park.My family lore is that we are related to Ann Park.I have traced my ancestors back to Walter Park who lived in Dumfries at the same time as Ann, but I have not been able to document the connection.I have been able to determine that some of the so-called history( even the most recent history book on Burns) surrounding Ann Park is incorrect, Something members of TS would have found out in 10 minutes.

Re: Robert Burns
I'm related my GG Uncle married a GGGGGreat Granddaughter of Burns & they emigrated to Western Australia & owned a Vineyard but I' just can't lay my hands on the names at the minute.
There is also a possible illegitimate connection on my Mum's side of the tree but again can't think.
I am busy hurtling between two hospitals daily, decorating & tidying & am shattered in mind & body.Still both on the mend & hopefully home soon.
