Apart from the fact that my husband was born in Turkey (to a British father whose nationality is based on HIS Great Grandfather being born in MALTA), I also got asked to research my son-in-law's English roots. The fact that the Channel Islands also came into the equation in his line didn't help a lot either

What a great idea Talking Scot is. I don't know what I would have done without it when I started my genealogical quest over 3 years ago.
