That's my second lot of "staggered" tombola tickets. I'll be staggered if I win anything, never won anything before.
Maybe this will be your lucky year Lorna? Good luck with the draw!

Only a week and a half to go now before the draw and all those fab prizes.
The draw will be held on Saturday, 26 June 2010, 9pm BST at the 6th Annual TalkingScot (Virtual) Beach Party.

Roll up, roll up....

- For those members have not been here on TS on previous years, a new part of the forum will be set aside nearer the time for members only, where the virtual beach party and the draw will take place. It is a chance to chat with other members and have a bit of fun, and pretend you are sitting with your bare feet in the warm sand on a Scottsih beach, with the water lapping and the BBQ heating up, with, of course, the added excitement of the prize draw!

Only 10 days left to purchase your Tombola tickets. The Tombola Draw is a non-profit fund raiser to cover the expenses of TalkingScot ,so the website can remain advertisement free. The Administrators and Moderators of TalkingScot volunteer their time to keep the site up and running. Here is an opportunity for our members to win a prize and to give something back to TalkingScot. Thank you to the members for purchasing your tickets. Good luck to the tickets holders!

The draw will be held on Saturday, 26 June 2010, 9pm BST at the 6th Annual TalkingScot Beach Party.

For all of our overseas members, don't miss this improved exchange rate compared to last year.

Just to say to folks, if you don't know the Stenlake books they are excellent. They show a variety of views of the chosen district/village across a wide time span so you can see where your more recent rellies lived (sometimes !) and they give a great 'feel' for the era they portray.

Roan/Rowan, Hastings, Sharp, Lapraik in Ayr & Kirkcudbrightshire.
Johnston, Reside, Lyle all over the place !
McGilvray(spelt 26 different ways)
Watson, Morton, Anderson, Tawse, in Kilrenny
