Thanks, Marilyn! Bang goes the dreary housework! Can I beat myself - that's how pathetic I am.

The festivities for Hogmanay and New Year start this evening with a torchlight parade from the Royal Mile to Calton Hill, where there will be fireworks.

The haggis should be too shy to appear there with all these people around.

All the best,

I finally saw a haggis in Paris. I was a little disappointed because it looked just like a haggis that you would find in Scotland of England. :( i had been hoping for something more exotic. :D

Fear not - a ghostly green gloom has decended and a haggis appeared - and frightened off the hoards of humans

I saw similar this morning. Instead of a view of the inside of the Belushi Bar, there was a mountain scene with 4 golden haggii.

Looks like there is to be some live music in Belushi's bar this evening and there are actually quite a few people in the bar for a change - it often looks deserted!
