Thank you for getting the forum up and running again :D .I don't know what i would have done with out the forum  it has been a great site for helping me with my family history and a great wealth of information to me. I really enjoy reading about peoples experiences when searching their family history.

Great to see TalkingScot back on line. Not that I have posted much for a while. I like logging in every day though. I really missed it when it was gone. Had so much help in the past. Often thought Imay be able to help others in return but I'm just rubbish. Always amazed at the quick responses and replies to queries on here, I could never do it, I don't know where you all get your information from. You are so knowledgeable.

all the best :D

Helen
Don't worry about that, you will get to the stage that you can help others.
I may not be as knowledgeable as some on TS, but I have been able to help on occassions. As you progress with your own tree, and searching, you will find you gain more and more skills, then suddenly you may find you know how to help someone. :D

Just to say I am glad TS is back. I did not expect that to happen for another three months.

There has been a lot of hard work done to achieve this.

Thankyou.

Thanks Stewie,

It's very kind of you to say so.

I just feel a bit quilty when I have had so much help. I would like to give something back in return. Maybe one day!!!!! :)

all the best

Hi Helen,

No need to feel guilty.

One day you will read someone's post and suddenly realise "I know how to find that" and start helping others as well.

A word of caution, though - that is when you really become compulsive

It happened to us all
