Why are so many members on TS just now?

Post by AnneM » Mon Jun 30, 2008 9:33 pm

Why is everyone on TS and not watching the tennis. I just can't stand the strain myself.

Anne

Yes!! Just seen the result :) :D :D Back to victory from 2 sets down. You can't knock it.

Anne

Multi-tasking! Got the tennis on the TV in the background while I'm doing some searching for WW2 RAF information ...

Hi Anne

I'm suffering from TS deprivation which condition has persisted too long, so I'm trying to catch up before my Internet connections drops out again.

Just wait until the quarter finals when Murray is playing Nadal.

I am so excited. Tonight's match was just fantastic.

Best wishes
Jean

True indeed Jean. From what I could bear to watch it certainly was a needle match and the quarter final should be real nail biter.

Hi Anne

When he went down 2 sets I thought "Oh no here we go again"

However the battle afterwards was just out of this world.

My brother phoned me from Scotland just after the end of the match as he knows how much I enjoy the tennis. We spoke for over an hour re-living the points

Best wishes
Jean

Tennis isn't my game. I just need a break from looking for my Finnish relatives on Ancestry. Eliina Niemi just became Elaine Mims! Only took about four months to find that one.

Carol :D
Looking for: Clerihew, Longmuir/Longmore, Chalmers, Milne, Barclay in Newhills,
Munro, Cadenhead, Raitt, Ririe/Reary

Many thanks for your generous offer. I'll put a separate post on tonight about my WW2 RAF searching. Don't want to hijack the tennis post!!

Ta again.
