Help reading a signature

Post by speleobat2 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 2:17 pm

Hello,

Just uploaded an inscription and signature from the back of a picture card. The inscription reads: With kind regards and best wishes for the coming year.

What I can't read is the word or signature after "year."

Any one want to try this one?

Thanks,

Hi Carol,

I would go for M MacDonald (or possibly U MacDonald).

All the best,

AndrewP

My vote would be U Mcdonald but it could be M but doesn't look like the other M's in the writing.

Thanks Andrew,

I think you've got it!

Hi Joette,

We crossed posts there.

There was one McDonald in the family, but she was born in India and went from England to Providence, RI where she married my grandfather's sister-in-law's brother--if you can follow that! We have two pictures of the mystery woman and they were both taken in Aberdeen.

Clueless--again!
