Latin spelling of Joseph

Post by mcblondie » Sat Jul 26, 2008 2:11 pm

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how the names Joseph and Jame would be spelt in Latin?

I have a Baptismal certificate and not sure whether first name is Joseph or James.

Thanking you all in advance.

Hi

I would think that Joseph would be Josephus and James would be Jacobus. Not quite so sure about Joseph though.
