Long time no see !!!

Post by Frink » Tue Oct 07, 2008 9:46 pm

Hi Everyone,

Its been such a long time since i have been on the forum so I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Also apologise to anyone who's posts I may have missed or if I had promised to do something for anyone (please remind me if I did) . I suffered a head injury and have been a long time in recovery. Anyway enough of that ...

I hope to become aquainted with you all again ..

kindest regards
Jan

Hi Jan

We seem to have a few names in common - which towns/counties are you particularly interested in. I would be especially interested if you have any info on Aitken of Tarbolton.

Good to hear you are well again.

Post by KarieK » Fri Oct 10, 2008 2:43 pm

Hi Jan
We seem to have at least 6 surnames in common in our trees, mine are all in Ayrshire.
Armstrong and Gemmill in West Kilbride, Agnes Gemmill married George Armstrong
McAdam, my gr gr grandmother born in Ayr and my giant brick wall
Wylie in Kilwinning, I can trace back to mid 1750's
Crawford in Dalry
Do you connect with any of these lines.
Best Regards, Karen
Wylie/Wilson/Stewart/Jack in Kilwinning
Stewart/Wilson/Murdoch in Kilmarnock
Cook in West Kilbride
Montgomery in Dalry and Kilmaurs
Kerr in Dalry and Antrim
Lauchlan/Lauchland in Beith
