Hi Gordy
Then you may find the maps at http://www.nls.uk/maps/index.html of use.
e.g I'm seeing an "Old Bridge" on this map of the town of Alloa from 1825. http://www.nls.uk/maps/detail.cfm?id=304
It is down a bit and right of centre, where there is a hill - the bridge appears to be over a stream, leading to the hill.
Does this area become very built up in the following years, leading to numbers like 115? Sorry, I don't know Alloa, but the census header page may help you here.
Best wishes
Lesley
p.s. Google maps suggests there is still a street in Alloa called Old Bridge Street
Ok, so far so good! Did you download the census page from SP? If so, you can also, whilst you are at it, download the header page for free. The header page will list the places the enumerator had on his schedule for this area, in the order that he was visting them, and this should give you a good idea of the area that "Old Bridge" was in, before you start looking at maps. e.g. you will know if it is likely to be in a town or a more rural area and the names of street or cottages or farms either side of it.I got it in the 1861 census for Alloa

Hi Gordy
You're welcome. Glad we found it.
The satellite image on Google maps makes it look like quite a built up area, but looks like part of "old Bridge Street" is a goods yard now - I can see big lorries parked on one side of it, and what appear from above to be tenements or similar on the other side of the street, but they may be quite modern buildings, it is difficult to tell.
Best wishes
