Re: More Ancestry Problems
It is really frustrating but I found if I 'switched back to the old experience' and did a general search the Scottish data comes up. But if you want a specific census you get nothing!!!kenspeckle wrote:Hi all could someone please check if it is Ancestry and not me as the whole weekend I can not get anything on Scottish Census every search comes up with zero even when I put in known people I have tried using another browser but still the same

I posted about this on the other Ancestry thread.....I search using the 'old' way all the time, and it hasn't worked for me for a couple of days now. Also I noticed that some outside links to message boards at Ancestry aren't working either (gives "0 Messages" ). I hope it has something to do with their changes BUT I hope they don't change the way we search to the "new" way because I really dislike it.
Researching: Easton ( Renfrewshire, Dunbarton and Glasgow), Corr (Londonderry and Glasgow), Carson (Co. Down, Irvine, Ayrshire and Glasgow), Logan (Londonderry and Glasgow)

the new way on ancestry
Yes must admit I don't like it either it keeps popping up suggestions and annoys me as I know what I want and the non relevant suggestions will most likely cause all sorts of problems with folk new to genealogy regards lesley
