hi
just found a David Cameron married a Mary E Bramon 1860
in Rhode Island ,
also James who married a Elizabeth Burley 1865 ,
these 2 have the right parents Robert and Frances ,
i am looking for children of them , in hope a female has married ? Jamieson
as i have found my Mothers Brother went to Pawtucket RI , in 1923 to relations ,
and the only persons can be is these 2 Great Uncles , having a Daughter who marries a Wm Jamieson ,
sorry my ancestry wont let me into usa

Got fed up trying to find David Camerons so just did a search for all Camerons born in Rhode Island between 1860 and 1870. There are only 17.

There are an unhealthy amount of Cameron children living in institutions, with other folk or Uncles in the 1880 census.

One, Frances M., caught my eye.

Providence, Providence, Rhode Island

No sign of any RI births and no sign of David born abt 1837 or Mary born abt 1843

i got the same one late last night , yes it is him as he has Robet and Frances as Parents , havent got the David as yet , but did find a few Deaths for David Camerons ,
i couldnt get any marriages for any of these females , i am wondering if the neice is Davids Daughter , he was the eldest of the two Brothers ,
i found someone looking for Family of the James E Cameron , so have emailed him ,
only thing i can think of on the William Jamieson he was married to one of these Daughter , as havent come over that name anywhere ,not even on my Material GrandMothers side , then again , i cant get away from Stewarts , trip me up all over the place ,
i managed to find the ship and records my Uncle went over on ,and says this William is an Uncle , although on poor reform application Uncle James , states he was going over to Friends in Pawtucket ,seems to be taking a bit shape on this side now ,

of a James Cameron 1974 born 1878 .my hes been old , Providence, Rhode Island, this must be a son ,
also a 2nd James same place born 1915 died 1985 ,
odd how no marriages comming over for these females

i just had a reply from a decendant of James Cameron - well he says Archibald Cameron , that will be the eldest son ,
will be interesting to see what he can tell , but doesnt have a Jamieson on his Tree

The next time I'm at the Rhode Island Archives, I'll check the "Bride Marriage Index" to cross reference a female CAMERON marrying a male JAMIESON.

You could also try searching the on-line obituaries from our local newspaper, The Providence Journal for your mother's brother death notice. Maybe there some hidden clues waiting for you?

sorry there seems no connection between the two families , i managed to get in touch with one of James Sons grand daughters , shes done a good job on her family tree and no one in Pawtucket , only one person left he could belong to and thats my Grans half Brother ,he would have to have a Daughter who married a Jamieson , and went from here ,
so i will look today for Crawford - Jamieson marriages , but going by my Brother there was someone in USA , he just cant recall who ,
